The Feed Is a Liturgy
You are being formed by something. The only question is whether you chose it.
Formation happens whether we want it to
The scroll is a liturgy. It has its own creeds (outrage is clarity), its own sacraments (the share, the like), its own posture (head bowed, thumb in motion). The longer we participate, the more the liturgy participates in us.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." — Romans 12:2
A counter-liturgy
Pick something small. Morning prayer before the morning feed. A walk without a podcast. A meal where no one reaches for a phone. These are not productivity hacks. They are acts of resistance against malformation.
The algorithm will not stop optimizing. We can stop offering our attention as the raw material.
